I proposed two options of itinerary and you can choose one of the Tour schedules below. It is an ideal and flexible program. The itinerary for the south is highly flexible. There is a specific day for markets. You have to be on the markets on a due day to attend the colorful markets But, there is no specific day for ceremony and festival. The driver has contacts in all villages of Omo valley. If something is to happen in one village, we will leave the plan aside and drive to the village to be a part of the event.

In the morning drive to Dorze village on the way stop at Tiya and a family of Gurage people and then visit a Dorze Village in the Guge Mountains. The Dorze are known for their tall, beehive-shaped bamboo houses. If the base becomes infested with termites, the entire house can be lifted and moved to another location Over night dorze Dorze eco lodge.
Drive to nontouristic village airborne via Konso and Woyto. Visiting: the Agro Pastoralist of Konso tribal people. Konso is one of the world’s heritage sites recorded by UNESCO due to its wonderful stone terracing to protect soil washing from erosion. The Konso tribal people are the most hardworking people in the region. Woyto is a territory of semi-nomadic of the Tsemay tribal people; we will stop over there for tea or coffee break. On this same day, we visit a non-touristic Tsemay village overnight camp at non-tourstic Aribore village.

We will take some gifts like maize and coffee for the chief of the village then drive through the Mago National Park to a local village of the Mursi tribe. Visit the touristic village just for a photo and then drive to Bodi nontouristic village known for earlobe plates. In the evening camp at Bodi village. Slim might be in elsewhere but for Ethiopia’s Bodi or Me’en people, bigger is always better. The tribe, which lives in a remote corner of Ethiopia’s Omo Valley, is home to an unusual ritual that sees young men gorge on cow’s blood and milk in a bid to be crowned the fattest man.

The Dasenech tribe lives in small huts on a flat plain above the river and is one of the most interesting tribes of the Omo Valley.
