The tour mainly covers the northern part. Because of its’ advantage being the center of an ancient civilization, the area is endowed with huge historical and archaeological monuments. The area is also home to four world heritage sites, including the only natural world heritage site of the country, the Simien Mountains National Park. When one thinks about the tour in Ethiopia, it is hard to forget the historic route.

  1. Day 1 Addis Ababa

    Holy Trinity Cathedral

    Travelers visit the unique architecture of the church, the tomb, the last Ethiopian emperor, religious paintings, and the museum.

    Visit the famous female skeleton of Lucy and other objects which reflect the country’s history, culture, and nature.

    Addis Mercato

    This is one of the largest open-air markets in Africa. Travelers will walk and explore the most interesting part of the market ad take pictures.

    Mount Entoto

    This is the best spot for a panoramic view over Addis Ababa. Travelers can climb up to the mountain or drive by car.

  2. Day 2 Bahir Dar

    Lake Tana

    This is the largest lake in Ethiopia with 37 islands. There are around 22 ancient churches and monasteries on these isolated islands. Travelers will visit some of these ancient holy places and birds and hippos on the lake.

    Blue Nile Falls

    The beautiful fall is located around 36 km from Bahirdar city. Here visitors will walk through the village to the fall and admire the countryside landscape and cross the famous Blue Nile river with a boat.
